Louis - I was on that machine that was on Ebay. Good luck with cheap pricing used. The damned thing went for almost same cost as new. So I dug into the sock and bought a new one. Sent them molds to rework and both came in same box. What a dream. Best equipment I ever bought. At least so far. I got pretty close to the figure they use for bullets cast per hour. One thing I found though. Be sure you are centering the pour down the middle of the mold. With the blower cooling the mold if you arent centered the bullet comes out half perfect and half looks like it needs more heat. Drove me nuts the first time I used it. Of course had I read the directions BEFORE diving in I would have known that. By the way they do a top shelf conversion on molds from RCBS LYMAN and SAECO. I went with the Magma over the Ballisticast machine figuring Billy Marr is using their stuff I may as well. He made a good looking bullet. MINE ARE A BIT BETTER BILLY!! Just kidding Billy.

Louis, there is a guy at shooters.com who is selling a magma for $400.
he bought a mechanized model.
look in their classified section.

http://talk.shooters.com/login.cfm?ErrorMessage0=%3Ch3%3EPlease%20login%2E%3C%2Fh3%3E

you have to register to log in to the classified section.  I bought at "Star" sizer luber from him with a hand full of dies for a very good price.  The Star turned out to be a Saeco when I opened the box, and so it was then a good price.  I am happy with it and only feel he should have apologized for his error in identifying the item after I brought it to his atention ( I never felt he did it on purpose).  The equipment was in good order and with the dies included it still was a good buy.  Best of luck. JB
