I have looked in the archives and didn't find to much on this subject. I want to camo paint the whole gun. It looks like most people use krylon fusion paint. What do you wipe it down with before you paint and do you put some kind of sealer coat over the paint

Look in the Old Injun Tricks Forum down in the Misc. Section near the bottom of forums index. I posted a thread there years ago on painting firearms using Rustoleum paint. It's been added to many times by many people and is likely on the first or at worst second page of that forum as it was brought back to top not long ago again.
You should also be able to find info on it on the NEF Centerfire Rifle Forum in their Help and FAQ Sticky at top of that forum. Good info on painting guns in both forums.
Addendum: Forgot that Matt moved that forum into the new Survival and self sustainability section. Here is the link to my thread.
