      Does anyone have any information on a Harrison Special double barrel shotgun?  Would like to know when they were made. The value of them. Also, when buying one, what should I be looking for.

If this gun is of domestic manufacture and not an import, it's probably a store name gun made by one of the major makers.  Numrich/GunParts has, on their web site, a cross reference of store brand names to their makers.  That might be a start for your research.
