New Presidential limo
« on: January 07, 2009, 08:46:51 AM »
Just caught a brief news story about the new limo that the ''teflon pres.'' is going to ride around in. Didn't say how much it cost to build. But it was built off the GM/Cadilac assembly line. Had anywhere from 5 to 8 inch's of armor plate in different area's of the car. More like a huge SUV than a limo. Nicknamed ''The Beast"!!  Didn't say how big the motor is, or how many HP. Bet it doesn't fall into the green catagory as far as fuel mileage. Also makes you think, wonder if they're expecting trouble building one this big and bullet proof. One of the GM guys said it was astroid proof. Hey, at least he's helping out American company's. If the gov't buys a few of these, maybe they won't have to bail them out. gypsyman

Na, if they were gonna pimp it out, they'd have just bought an 80's model suburban, installed 24's and a sound system that would make the whole truck sound like it was going to rattle apart :D

Although an 80's model suburban is fairly close to asteroid proof :D
I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."

Funny how the "Messiah" of the liberal filth thinks he needs so much armour.

Something strange here; the current presidential limos and SUVs aren't that old and they are armored at least to the equivalent to any world leader's limos...
Now, as the proper thing to do would be for the CinC to shun unnecessary expenses and govt spending..he's opting for a mobile fortress..wonder why..

I agree. Government spending and the wasting of our tax dollars should start with him. Dale
