Boxs for grandsons
« on: December 24, 2008, 01:47:05 PM »
Here are some boxes that I make for my grandsons when they turn 8 years old 3 down 6 to go. My dad made this same style of box for his grandsons called they treasure boxes 12 in all every one is still in use some 30 years old, he made them out of pine. the ones I am making are from quaken aspen from the Idaho mountains sawed into 4 quarter  thickness and air dried fun little project the grandson are always excited to get them.

Hey Kirb those are neat.
I really like the bowed top!
These are the type of things that will be handed down for generations.

Don't forget to sign and date them.

Merry CHRISTmas!!!
