You are asking about a BBL. rifle but stock and forearm ?? Then your best bet would be T/C's "custom shop" your choice of chamberings for the BBL, ect .

TC offered the "Carbine Kits" back in the Classic Contender frame days, so places like Cabela's would have had them for sale.   I don't think TC has offered them for years though, so nobody would have them for sale anymore unless they are putting them together from a special buy from TC.   As suggested it would be just as easy to put your own together buying the components individually.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

With the intro of the Encore everything changed,I'd get him an Encore then he can expand it far beyond what contender offers.I'm an encore owner with 3 receivers : 2 pistol & 2 rifle barrels barrels.

It changed when TC dropped the Contender frame in 1999 as far as the original question.   When they finally released the G2 in 2002, the carbine kits were not offered for them.

As far as changing the direction TC was going, yes the Encore's appearance turned out to be the last nail in the coffin of the Contender.

Thanks, I hadnt seen one in a while. I like the Original Contenders They were quality, accurate, and simple I bought my first in 79 at 18 years old.  and have had a bunch since I only have three frames now. I figured I would get him somthing to varmint hunt with and nothing better to learn on than a contender.
thanks, Sparky
