Welcome to Hunting Australia & Pacific Forum

Gday and how 'ya going.
Welcome to the new Australia & Pacific Hunting section of GBO.
It's great to be able to share the hunting experiences of those who live and/or hunt in Australia, New Zealand and other Pacific countries.
Also feel free to ask any questions about the regional conditions and laws that regulate hunting and shooting in this region and someone will try to give you some answers.
Regards
Andy

Thanks guys.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops.
I won't even pretend to be an amazing hunter but I do my bit and I'll encourage other friends to post their exploits as well.

Good to see this forum added and I look forward to some interesting reading. That looks like a large bore on that rifle in your avatar.

The rifle in my avatar is a Tikka T3 Lite Stainless in 9.3x62 which I guess is a medium bore that often does the work of a big bore.
It's plenty of fun to shoot but in a 6.5lb rifle the recoil is firm!
One day I plan to take a water buffalo using it.
I hope to have some interesting stuff to post in a week or so as I'm off to the hills for 5 days next week after bunnies, foxes, feral goats and maybe (here's hoping and praying) even a hog or 3.

I used to hunt fiddler crabs with a BB gun as a kid on the Los Angeles (Pacific Ocean) County beaches.
Ohhhh.... Pacific
countries
, not counties.
Never mind. I don't qualify...

Don't worry, Victor, we still love you.......in a fraternal, platonic sort of other side of computer monitor sense, of course.
