Romanian Help please.
« on: January 13, 2009, 11:16:21 AM »
I gave one of the romanian training rifles to a friends kid and on Sunday we were shooting the rifle and it was having problems feeding rounds from the magazine.  It looks like the firing pin does double duty as the firing pin and also as the ejector.  It looks like the pin is supose to move to the rear as the next round is picked up and the little gun has positive feed.
My question is:  Is there a return spring on the bolt?
Does anyone have an exploded view of the rifle?
It looks like it the track has a knick in it and it just needs some emory cloth to free the firing pin up.
I want to get it fixed for him.  He is comming over this weekend to clean all the guns he shot on Sunday.

I replied in gunsmith forum but also if you look close on the left side of the receiver you will see an ejector similar to the Mauser but not near as effective. With mine you have to pull the bolt back fast to get the empty to clear the action. Heard a guy lengthened the little ejector but didn't hear how it worked
