I agree with everyone so far.
If you are
SURE they're
factory loads, use them as "fouling" shots to dirty up your barrel when you go to the rifle range with a clean barrel... OR... take 'em to the range the next time you go and shoot 'em. They will probably give you slightly greater recoil that your 140 grain bullets... and their accuracy may surprise you.
If they're handloads, take 'em apart and use the brass, discard the primer and powder. Save the bullet in case you ever need to load a heavier bullet. The "smart money" sez, "Never...
NEVER...
NEVER shoot someone else's handloads in your guns !~!~!
The bullets won't charge you any "rent" just sitting there in your "junk box" on your loading bench.
