Let's start posting some thoughts, Cowboys - and git some conversation goin' on........nothing negative tho' (only good thoughts here.......)!
Well, I am going to do a complete about face and shoot tomorrow not only with my cartridge guns, but also with smokeless powder. I haven't shot anything but C&B all this year and I haven't shot a match with smokeless ammo in 2 years. Not only that, but I plan to show up with just regular cowboy boots, jeans and blue bib short and a grey hat. I wonder if I will be recognized?
To explain, I will have to leave the shoot early and probably will only shoot 4 stages and then boogie on home and shower and clean up to go to a 50th wedding anniversary party 50 miles away. Then first thing monday I need to jump in the truck and run downstate 350 miles for a job interview and I figure it might take me until the end of the week to clean my shooters so hence the smokeless. Also I have enough smokeless on hand for four or five stages and I want to get rid of it so's I can use the brass and I won't be tempted to shoot smokeless again. :-D
Also tomorrow I hope to shoot the AWA Lightning that Mohave Gambler is bringing to the match. If it weren't for that, I might have just passed and missed the shoot altogether, but I want to try it before he has to send it back. He was given the rifle to pass around and let pards shoot it. Manatee has the other one on the east coast.[/b]
