How do I make Wheel Weight Ingots?

I have a cast iron pot that is about the right size to handle (2 quarts) on my coleman stove.  I plan on fluxing my wheel weights in this thing (OK?), then making cleaner ingots for my main pot.  How do I make ingots? Ladle (this seems safer)?  Try to pour (not liking this idea)?

Safety first, I'd appreciate your help.

I went down to the thrift store and bought a stainless steel ladle and a muffin pan. I ladle the lead into the muffin pan. Makes fine ingots.

lead sticks to muffin pans and they end up with holes in them from dropping them on the floor to get the ingots out.Farm and Ranch stores,sporting goods, camping, cabelas etc.. have cast iron corn bread or muffin molds for cooking over fires, you can get wedge shapes, fish shapes, mine look like little ears of corn and weigh about 3/4 lb, there are 4 to 6 holes in a mold , they don't stick and last forever. I melt down scrap in the garage coal stove and have clean ingots to cast in the comfort of my reloading room during cold season.The old two handed army surplus stainless spoon with holes works great if melting wheel weights, gets all the metal clips out in one pass, and no do not pour out of the pot

I found an ingot mould from an old print shop.  You don't find many of those around anymore.  BUT, I use several muffin pans (aluminum).  You can fill them full or 1/4 - 1/3 -1/2 for different size ingots.  Full takes a while to cool so I have several pans.  Then I segregate lots - pure lead vs lino vs ww and MARK each one.  Then you can mix a batch to your liking.  When you get a good blend make a bunch of ingots of it and mark them.  Standardization is good.

How about a Lyman or Lee ingot mold.  The Lee ones are aluminum, cast two sizes of ingots, and sell for not much money.  The Lyman ones are a bit more pricey, cast one size of ingot, and are cast iron.  I've used both.

the  ingots  fit  into  the melting  pot fine

before  that i just poured lead  into the grooves of metal roofing
had 4 to 6 foot  by 1  inch  bars  then chop to  1 foot  with ax
