re-chambering a 30-30 to 30 30 Ackley Imp.

  Hi Everyone ; I've got a 22 inch 30-30 Win . Contender barrel and I want to have it re-chambered to 30-30 Ackley Imp. , does anyone have the chamber reamer and the time to  do the job ?

GBO sponsor SSK will do it, or you can rent the reamer from GBO sponsor 4D and do it yourself, it's easily done by hand. Sponsors are listed at the top of the links list in the green bar above.

I was told the barrel would have to be set back to do it.  So it would really be a pain to near impossible to do an Encore

Not true on a rimmed chambering, done one myself on an H&R. ;)
