FA single shot in production 2009?

I looked at the Shot show pictures on Gunblast and I noticed that FA had their new single shot pistol on display. Does this mean that they will start building them for sale soonish? Their website has no mention of it even though they have added a couple of new items for 2009 over there.

I'm also interested in the prize; it should be a bit cheaper than the Premier Grade 83, for example, since it's easier to manufacture than a revolver...

Bob Baker addresses that question in this thread but no definitive production date has been set. But yes this year for sure I believe. I'll be getting one for a Product Review once they are available.

Good to hear, I'm looking forward to that review! The FA offering is the first single shot pistol that really interests me; partly just because it's an FA, which probably means it will give many decent rifles a run for their money...

I've already done a quick and dirty on it and the FA97 .22-327. Bob brought them by my house one day for me to try them out while he was visiting family in the next county over from me. We spent a bit of time up on my range shooting them and talking. I got some photos and posted a thread here about them. You should be able to find it on this forum on the first or second page. Just look for threads started by me and it should be easy to locate.

I read your post about the new products way back when you wrote it, but it will be nice yo hear what you think of it after more thorough testing. Ride it like you stole it, when you get it out on loan  

P.S. As I recall from your previous reviews, there is a slight chance you end up sending a check to Bob Baker instead of a gun...

If I can see my way clear to afford it but we'll just have to wait and see what my finances look like at that time and how much he needs for it. I get writer discounted price if buying after a review which is dealer cost minus a discount. It's a good deal to buy them but FA guns are not cheap and I don't always have the funds laying around to buy even if I want them.
