moly on combined technology
« on: January 24, 2009, 03:38:00 AM »
After reading horror stories I decided no to reload or shoot any Molly bullets from any of my guns. I've removed moly from several bullets with a little elbow grease and a scotch brite pad. However I horse traded for some combined technology ballistic silvertips and this moly is a bit much. Would some 400grit paper distort these bullets?  I tried contact cleaner, brasso and other household cleaners no help, Any suggestions?   Thanks in advance, TVC15

i had no problems cleaning the rifle i shot them the most in, wipes right out.
