polymer tip 30gr .224" bullet?
« on: January 25, 2009, 04:20:27 AM »
Anyone have an idea who makes these bullets?

http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=322565

They sound a bit like the 30gr vmax bullets that hornady is selling for .22 mag, but the picture is wrong if that's what they are.  Berger and Barnes are supposed to have bullets in that diameter and weight, but I can't find any load data on them.

What would these be for?  .22 hornet?  .223?

That pic looks like a Hornady to me. But your right, no guaranty that pic is correct fro what they are actually selling...

Not sure but will guess this bullet is for top velocity's in smaller CF 22's. 218Bee, 22H, 221, 222, 222M, 223 etc... I imagine you could really get it cookin' from a 22/250 or a 220swift!!!
