Hi, my first post--

The best day hike that I hike is the Tuolumne Meadows trail in the High Sierras of Yosemite.  Take the path towards Glen Aulen (a High Sierra Camp.)  You can go to the camp or just to the Cascades and back.  It's spectacular--mountains, forest, river, meadows, cascades...all in one easy hike and doable in about 4 hours total.

I got 2 more squirrels today.  I switched to a mod. choke and it isn't tearing them up as bad.  I used my little Bench Made knife.  I heard several turkeys and saw some deer.  I had 00 buck & slugs, but I couldn't tell for sure if either was a buck.  Turkey season isn't open yet.

Nice picture of your game. Reminds me of Chip and Dale, the only difference is that they're lifeless. :D
I'm not adept at catching squirrels, and most of the time I find them agile creatures very irritating.
