JohnTraveler - I'm certain that "-06 Browning Pump" refers to a .30-06 Browning BPR rifle, a manually-operated version of the BAR.
Cornbelt - The trigger is almost identical to the trigger on a BAR, but isn't easily adjustable.
If you're mechanically inclined, and have long experience in disassembling trigger housing assemblies like the Brownings and Remingtons, then it can be taken apart, the surfaces smoothed up, etc, and reassembled.
Sometimes the judicious application of Gun Slick or some other fine lubricant can do wonders for one of those type triggers, after the entire mechanism is thoroughly cleaned with the trigger group taken out of the receiver.
