The serious hunters are probably out hunting and may not respond to your question. I've never had much luck, late season bow hunting but others may differ. When I lived down at Mena, I heard of a guy on the AR/OK line that was consistently taking trophy class bucks in January. A lot of the antlered bucks have already been taken where I hunt. I have shot a few young deer to eat but I was careful not to stick a buck with dropped antlers or a pregnant doe.
