New and just saying hi
« on: January 15, 2009, 08:22:23 AM »
Hello . My name is Lori and I am new to deer hunting .I am a 30 yr old recently divorced  mom and have decided to take up a little hunting or at least try .Look forward to making new friends and getting some good advice .
when you have a good girl you need to hold onto her & treat her right or the  next thing you know that good thing is gone because you pushed them away without knowing & trust me once that good thing has decided to move on it won't come back.

Lori,  Welcome.  We're glad you are here.  We're here to help; talk deer "smack" at times; learn a trick or two from our Forum Bros and Sistas; and in particular to encourage one another.

Deer hunting can be hard or soft, expensive or reasonable, irritating or comfortable, and a host of other adjectives.  Tell us what you want to know.  We'll do our best to answer PROVIDED that you do your part in the real world - spend the "dirt time" doing what all of us LOVE - hunting the white tailed deer.

You will only KNOW what you think you know by getting your hands dirty.  Experience is the best teacher.

Butters amd Lori, Welcome.  It is really great to see more women involved in hunting and shooting.  If I can help, just ask.  What States are you gals in?  I'm on Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
