OPINIONS CRKT M16
« on: September 17, 2008, 11:03:19 AM »
I have sold and handled this knife for a couple years. I like it but never owned or bought one. Reciently read a couple posts and stories where the suthor had great respect for this knife.

My intended use: Daily carry, IE, open letters, boxes, cut food, 3-4 degree defensive.

I feel the urge for one...

 What do you think...

It's been around for quite a while now in it's various forms, and people must like them; otherwise they'd be discontinued by now.

i have one of these,m16-13z.i have been carrying it for about a yr now.i have a construction business and use this for almost everything.i have dug root bulbs for my wife, wiped it of and used it later to cut into a piece of steak, whittled a stubborn piece of wood into submission and dressed fish and deer with it.i am very impressed at the durability of this knife,i always have a leatherman on my side as well,i have a couple i swap out and have to send them out yearly to get replaced.no problems at all with this crkt,it replaced a spyderco i always carried that i broke in half.after a year this m16 is completey intact.tip ,clip screws, everything.a little sharpening and some light oil to keep it free and your in business.hard to beat for the$$.i give this one 2 thumbs up,good luck with it,adker

I have been carring this one now since shortly after my post. I really like the knife. Its done everything I have asked and never objects.

I have bought several dozen knives for this duty over the past couple years. So far this one is my favorite.
