500 S&W Encore Katahdin?

Anyone shooting the Encore 500 S&W Katahdin?? I got the barrel, I have the dies,new brass, Lil Gun powder and large rifle primers. I ordered 200 440 WFNGC's from Ranger Rick and they should be here Tuesday.

If you have one tell me how you like it. Would rather hear about the 500 but would also be interested in the other big bore chamberings

FYI - Hornady is just releasing a 300 gr. Flex Tip for the .500. I am also looking at ordering barrel for .500 S&W but opting for 24" heavy barrel since it wll be mostly stand hunting in Indiana where you can use this caliebr in rifle barrel now. Appreciate if youwould post up some results.

I use a .500 for deer hunting in IN.  I get very good accuracy with barnes 325 gr XPB and 43 lilgun.  I don't see much reason to go with anything heavier than 350gr boolit for deer hunting.

What kind of groups will the Katahdin shoot at 100 yds?
