Need help removing hammer
« on: February 01, 2009, 04:38:54 PM »
I want to remove the hammer from my Buffalo Classic and I need a little direction.  I've been all over the FAQ's and didn't find exactly what I need.  The question I have is, which roll pins need to be driven out and in which order.  I've included a pic with the roll pins numbered.  If anybody could help, I'd sure appreciate it.  Oh, the reason I want it out is to get a price on brass plating it.

Go to the FAQ's and look under trigger work by Perklo. He takes you through the whole deal.
While you have it apart you might want to do the trigger job. It's easy. I did all 3 of my
Handis. The first time it took me about an hour. The last one took me about 30 minutes
start to finish.

You need to take out the bottom three pins.  To put them back in you will need to make up one short false pin to go into the lifter/trigger/trigger guard in order to get it put back together.  Larry
