Beeman's Lead .177 cal BB's discontinued
« on: February 09, 2009, 06:56:31 AM »
In case anyone is interested, I was just informed that Beeman's has discontinued their line of BB Gun Lead BB's.   Not really necessary in an unrifled barrel, but its rumored the accuracy and punch is somewhat better.???

Dunno if Beeman was the brand but I have used them in my Gamo and liked their performance but really regular .177 pellets seem a bit more accurate and hit with enough authority for my uses. But you can look for all lead pellets and other lead uses in ammo to be phased out in the next very short few years. If ya want them ya best buy a life time supply soon.

That is exactly what I am doing!
Most folks are scarfing up cartridges, not lead pellets.
but lead is lead, and they are trying to legislate all of it.
I bought more .22 cal this morning and am going to order
some 5mm in a day or so. I have more Co2 cartridge than I will
probably ever use! Co2 bad for the ozone so it will not
be long before they are after it too. I have also just aquired
a bunch of O rings to keep my air rifles in service.
