Rossi Braztech Customer Relations
« on: January 20, 2009, 06:05:36 AM »
This is a "reprint from my DIY trigger work thread"

I called Braztech Customer relations this morning (finally) and asked how much it would cost to reassemble my trigger group into my receiver.  He responded FREE.  I said HUH?  "I didn't send in any warranty cards etc"  he said I don't care.....send it and we will fix it up for free if you have all the parts.

I was FLOORED by this ...... quite impressed.

SO to TOP IT OFF I asked how I pay ship both ways......he said DON"T I only need to pay to get it there.  They pay return ship.

I was/am shocked.  I haven't had such good PR in quite awhile.  I have 3 Rossi's and think I'll go find that elusive one in 30.06 as well.  Why not???  For less than $225 total I can have a single shot with a nice 3x9x50 on top which does great groupings.  All 3 of mine shoot well.  I may get a bum someday but not yet!!!

I am totally and thoroughly impressed with their willingness to reassemble MY SCREW OFF and disassembly of a perfectly good firing rifle.  I have no clue if Remington or Winchester does this but KUDOS to Braztech.

Went out in the mail yesterday 1/28/09.

I finished the strip down to just the reciever and parts.  I will include an envelope with Serial number, a thank you and $10.   I also popped a check in for $12.90 for a Hammer extension and shipping back on the extension....at least I'll be picking up some of the expense.

Lets see how long and how cool it is :):):):)

The $10 is not a trick but a tip for the reassembler.  I feel it is important to thnak those who follow behind and clean up my messes :)

TOTAL cost including getting ripped by postoffice (my fault) was $32.  $12.90 parts ship, $10 tip and $10 ship.

Follow up.......I got a real strange call from FedEx today on a delivery requiring an Adult Signature.  Hmmmmm......called my office.  I look up the reference number and a package is shipping to my HOUSE but has my Work phone number?  Huh?

So I see it is from MirMar Florida.   I'm still baffled and then I realize that my Rossi may be coming home.  HOLY #*%* BATMAN......that was FAST.   I mailed it 1-28-09 Priority mail.

I'll see when it arrives home tomorrow morning.  Too bad it needs adult signature, my wifey might not be home.  I hope so, I'll be excited to get it back in one piece and shooting.   I am SUPER impressed that Rossi is paying FedEx to ship back!  WOW!

Guys I was SHOCKED at the generous offer to repair in the first place.  I went INTO the FedEx store today after having the Mrs miss the package twice.  It WAS indeed delivered to my home on Thursday Feb 5th, but I missed it.

Here is what I got today.  My receiver is once again intact and with a very nice trigger  (I uh might have polished a little before sending in).

Recall I included $10 as a gratuity and a check for some parts.  Well there is a note in the paperwork which indicates...."$10 cash and personal check from customer forwarded to be returned"  So they did not accept my Tip.  Dang.  No parts came with but there is no POSSIBLE way I should complain as I was hoping to pick up some of the cost of shipping by ordering a part.

Anyway to sum this up. I mailed a piece I DISASSEMBLED ( an internal note indaicates this as well customer cannot assemble) and they put it back together, never charged me a nickel and payed RETURN shipping of approximately $26. and change with Fed Ex Priority.

I have not had a customer experience this great in QUITE awhile.  Super Fabulous.  Rossi Customer service is fabulous.  I even told them I am the SECOND owner.  No problem.

To top it off I got a letter TODAY in the mail dated Jan 30th indicating they received my warranty request (huh??) and repairs should be complete with in 5 weeks.  The completed repair beat the letter by 2 full days!

Guys, I found a Rossi matched set 30.06 and 12 Ga.....I don't need a 12 bore anymore BUT I will go in and buy it.  It is the discontimued Wood furniture.  I'll also pick up a .22/12 matched (again no need for a 12 gauge but at $119 its worth it.

looking at the calender, that was right around 1 week. they must not get many returns and their warranty gunsmiths are just sitting around twiddling their thumbs waiting for one to come in. considering that there was a weekend in there and the time in the mail, i would guess that it took merely minutes to reassemble, repackage and remail. thats absolutely great. someone outta step up to the handi forum and ask if there customer relations is that well :-X
