Cheap SKS Load
« on: February 03, 2009, 01:29:47 PM »
Looking for some ideas to load up about 850 223 rounds for my SKS.
Looking for something for just plinking to maybe a Yote or ? along the road.
Going to Make it my truck gun and am not real worried about load development
just something general purpose.
Bullets, powder, and a basic safe load that I will test a few rounds and then
just mass produce knowing its safe.
I hate asking for load data but not to bad on this one.
I am really looking at doing this one in a cost effective way.

Thanks,
Mike

Just curious.... what kind of SKS do you have that is .223?
For most SKSs in 7.62x39 I use surplus AA1680 and just about any .310  123gr or so bullet I can get cheap in bulk 8), works like a champ
