single action conversion?
« on: February 17, 2009, 04:42:40 PM »
I have one of the old Bearcats, the 4 click kind.  I also smell a "child safety" bill coming.  Since I have a grandson and another coming, would I be wise to have the gun converted?  If I do, how long does Ruger take to do the job?

This also means I probably need to find another to put in the will for them.
just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not watching you

I don't think I'd do it until forced, and maybe not then.
I'm looking to buy an old 3-screw .41 I found, and if it was converted I wouldn't want it, also the value goes down.

No, just get a good trigger lock. Don't convert it.
