I voted 12 gauge since it's what I've used most, and what is allowed in the areas I usually hunt. (am I the only one? ???) but I love the .308 from hunting experiences up north, and in the last few years have taken to using it in an encore pistol when I think I need the extra reach. but I still mostly hunt with my trusty smoothbore.

Oh, and I also use other handguns, a .357 mag and .454 srh. The GP 100 comes along when in shotgun zones down here and the .454 goes when I'm up north in the presence of bears. Among other things. ;D
