Is $565 out the door a good deal for this pistol or should i keep looking

Sounds pretty good to me.The one I checked on was closer to 600.

Sounds reasonable to me. I paid $529 for mine with checkered wood grips but that was a year and a half ago before the hysteria in the gun an ammo business got started. My local dealer had four with different finishes  about a month ago and they were all marked a little higher than that.

Thanks i went ahead and got it love it so far its my first 1911 and 2nd Taurus other is the PT111 love it too
