1894C with 16" barrel?

I might go look at an 1894C Marlin tomorrow and the guy says it has a 16" barrel. Did any 1894C's come from the factory with a 16" barrel and if so, what year might have that been?

yes, 1894CP, 16 & 1/4" with ports, blue and walnut. They also made a stainless with laminated gray stock. Both these are recient. Read with cross bolt safety. Hope this helps.
