« on: February 20, 2009, 02:28:48 PM »
Im in need of a battery for my johnny stewart tape player the only place i saw was the johnny stewart web site i think it was roughly 60 bucks for the battery with shipping. My question is where is the cheapest place to buy this battery i was also thinking if its going to cost me 60 bucks should i just put that money towards a new caller ? and what is a good inexpensive caller for crows and coyotes.    thanks     james

You can bet they do not make that battery.  If you do a search of some battery sights you will probably be able to find one.  First see if you can find any number on the one you have, good luck, you will probably find one for $10.00.  Larry

A gun is just like a parachute, if you ever really need one, nothing else will do.

the 2 batteries are panasonic 6 volt LCR6V2.4P soldered together to make 12 volts. I googled panasonic lcr6v2.4p and found a replacment from ragebattery.com they were 10 bucks a piece and another 10 for shipping so it cost me $30.
