Trip to the range with my G2
« on: February 26, 2009, 12:59:42 PM »
I made a trip to the range today with my G2 with a 14" .22 match barrel.  That gun is amazing.  It shoots better than my tricked out 10/22 or my Kimber 82.  The look on faces at the range when I pull it out and then start shooting is priceless.  They can't beleive I'm shooting like that with a pistol. :o LOL  I love this thing. ;D

Nows a good time to hug and kiss your family goodbye if you have one.   You won't be seeing them much anymore.   Once hooked (as you are now) the TC will become your full time mistress.    And she will be a high maintenance dame with you buying every barrel (plus scope) for her that you can get your hands on and all the shooting supplies for them.    You'll also be dressing her in lots of fancy wood and hiding the gifts you buy for her from your family.

IOW, we've all been there and done that.   And I can assure you that she's still just as addicting now as she was 41 years ago when I got hooked on her.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

Like Ladobe said. It's an addiction. You can't stop buying them.

Thanks guy's and I do agree.  It is a blast to shoot.  In fact I've been thinking about what barrels to get next!  I have a 7-30 Waters in 23" and another in 14".  I'm about to start reloading for those.  I've never reloaded before but this gun make me want to start.  I also have a .44 Mag and a .22 already and just bought another frame to build up a rifle for my son for next year.  I think I'll also be getting a .223 for it later.  Then later once I get into the reloading I'll get a .375 JDJ and then I don't know what next.   ;D

I used to have an older Contender years ago but for some reason let it go and always regreted it.  I bought this on because of it.  Glad I did.
