Local crime seems to be picking up.

I don't know about you all, but local crime seems to be picking up or at least it's hitting closer to home.

Within the last week by brother's sister-in-law had her car broken into outside her house.  Last night I found out some friends have a neighbor that had their house broke into.  When the police brought out the tracking dog he followed the scent trail right up to my buddies front door.  If it wasn't for their dog (jack russel) they would have been robbed. 

After hearing all this I gave my wife a pop quiz on "how does the gun by the bed work again?".  She passed and it was comforting for me to know that she could at least know how the gun works.


Anyone else seeing or hearing of more crime in their area?

I'm sure most are seeing crime rates going up!
I have in my small community.

The crime rate will continue to rise along with the population explosion.
Add to this..........The Nanny state doing their level best to disarm honest law abiding citizens, and the crime rate can only go up!

Im sorry to hear that it is rising in your neighbor hoods. Glad your neighbors killer (jack russel lol) saved the day. I live in cleveland so theres not to much more than usuall. But its cleveland so there is a lot and has been a lot.

The dog is really kind of a sissy, but if it's a loud dog it seems to have made some all the difference.  The part that really amazes me is that they are the second house inside their addition and I wouldn't have expected that.  My buddy is a electronics wiz with a new baby, so I suspect an alarm system will be installed soon.

I would expect one to especially if theres a new baby, and hes a electronics whiz.

It's all part of what our country will become as an Obama-Nation.

Crime will rise and law enforcements and the hands of the judiciary will be tied.

People will loose there good job to be replaced by a job created through government spending appropriations.

There will be mass exodus from good neighborhoods all over the country as those people loose there jobs and are forced to move.

Places that are known as epicenters of industry knowledge will collapse as the technology and void is filled by other countries willing to take on that industry.

Unemployment will rise in places that have long been known as safe havens and usually unaffected by economic down turns.

Prison populations will decline as criminals will not be brought to trial therefor never convicted.

The underclasses will take over greater control and find jobs created by government spending bills. They will build roads, bridges and schools in areas that are currently dilapidated. Unfortunately, no businesses will move in because they will have left the country to find haven away from the disaster that was created in the process of bringing jobs to these dilapidated areas.

Private heath care will be replaced by government health care because your employer, if you have one will not be able to afford it for you. A further step in the move of socialism and control by the government over your life, health, associated policy and jobs.

Schools will be brimming with teachers making yet better salaries and retirement plans. Teachers will become yet more likely to tow the party line and liberal rule and social matters will dominate the class room. Private schools will not be able to survive because no one will be able to afford it. All part of the plan to kill private schools for average Americans. Only the highest elite class will be able to afford it.

Capitalism will be replaced by Socialism and Government appropriations. Today our economy is funded by roughly 30% government spending and 70% private/corp spending. When these numbers move in opposite direction, you will know the Socialist movement is succeeding.

teddy12b tell your buddy when he puts in the alarm to do two things.
Put the main one in and also install the little window contacts that come with some alarms on the windows with some dummy wire where it can be seen from out side the window.
The perps will think that the contacts are the alarm and concentrate in these and maybe not realize that there is another alarm.
Also tell him not to put those stupid little signs in the windows that say what brand alarm he has.
This only makes it easier for them as now they know what kind he has and what they need to disarm it.

Recently there has been an increase in home invasions around the Houston Suburbs.
In my little hamlet of Deer Park a woman and her two year old were bound by two that forced their way into the home, at gun point, as she answered a knock on the door in broad daylight.
When inside the BG's made a call and the rest came in a pick-up. They took their time in ransacking the home.
Very luckily the mom and child were not harmed.
There is a vedio cam installed out side the home that caught all of the action.
That was 4 days ago and no arrest so far.
