Im not sure I understand but Ill try. The lil'griz traps are dog resistant.  And you can usa a lot of different things for bait in them that arent meat based...fish, marshmellows, or even egg.  Fish as in sardines gives off a lot of odor.  This year I froze some chunked carp to use in my lil'griz and will be luring the trap as well with samon oil.
Hope that helped,
Tim B

Just make sure that the bait is not touching the trigger when below freezing for now obvious reasons  :(

A good bait for lil grizs is to take and put either marshmallows or cotton balls into a zip lock bag.  Add lure. The lure odor is absorb. simply take a marshmallow or cotton ball thus prepared and use it in your traps. simple, easy- effective.

I have used the cooncuffs since they have come out.I have had real good results using Blackies Fur King--as a sweet bait, and Fatal Attraction.
The Cuffs are the only dog resistant trap I use or sell, they are cheaper than the grizz, and do a real fine job on coon.  Tom
