Need 20 ga. load

Looking for a 20 Gauge 7/8 oz. load.  I am using Remington STS hulls, #8 shot.  These will be used for hand trap and possibly doves.  I am shooting a Remington 1100.  Any suggen=stions would be appreciated.

14.0 Hodgdon International, RXP20 wad, Rem 209P primer should get you 1200 fps.  The same load with a W209 and WAA20 works, too.  Both loads come from the Hodgdon Basic Reload manual 2002.  You can download it from their site.  You can also download the Alliant manual, the Winchester Manual, IMR manual,the Accurate Arms manual, etc:

I usually use Herco powder for all my loads whether they be 7/8oz or 1oz loads.  Sometimes I will use Unique for 7/8oz loads and for my 1oz loads in the STS case I prefer to use Blue Dot.  My favorite load for the Rem STS cases consists of:

7/8oz
CCI209 Primer
17.5gr Herco
Rem RXP wad
1200fps
9,400PSI

Another favorite 7/8oz load for this case is:

16.5gr Unique
Rem RXP wad
1200fps
9,900PSI
