I'm sure there are some folks out there that like "synthetic" stocks. If you do,
more power to you. I could see their applications as a stock for a "truck gun"
or a "knock around" where the firearm might see some abuse or excess
moisture. Everyone uses their equipment differently. For a lot of people
"synthetic" is the way to go. For myself, I guess I'm just old school.
Even the so called "pallet wood" stocks can be made to look absolutely
beautiful. Like I said before, "everyone uses their equipment differently."
I pretty much baby my equipment. It comes out of the safe right into
a hard case for the trip to the range. After a range session it goes back
into the hard case for the trip back home. In my opinion a melted down
milk jug plastic, excuse me, I mean "synthetic", stock will never in a million
years have the appeal and the velvet smooth texture to me that wood
stocks have. Not even close! Just my .02
