Nice artistic work ironglow. Certainly a blessing of lasting memories, not only for the Church, but to you also. Brings to mind Moses' tabernacle in the wilderness, with all the craftsmen building artifacts for it.
Our own church building began with a Lawnmower Repairman's Impossible dream. He built it himself, with his own money.
It all began with his business. He built his workshop, and God blesssed the business . Then he built a Service Supply and Office building, and God continued to bless the business.
After the completion of a very nice practical church building , only 2 to 4 people would come. Then he and his daughter prayed for a Pastor, who looked at an improbable situation, yet God said "STAY", and 4 people prayed in (not stealing from other churches, or begging people to come) the 45-50 weekly congregation we have today.
The Repairman who was also our Do-bro guitar (spelling) player, has now gone to be with the Lord, and they locked the doors to his business, and the Song Leader who had been one of the first members followed afterwards, along with a beautiful old saintly woman who played the piano, but the church he dreamed about is thriving.
Men from all walks of life have come to this church and applied their talents and skills to benifit the church. From paving a parking lot, to carpentry, electrical and woodwork, musicians and singers. All glorifying God for the talents He's given them. Not to mis-lead you, it has its growing pains, just as anything that's worth its salt comes with sweat and tears, trial and error. So, hats off to you ironglow for creating beneficial art for the church on your narrow way towards the straight gait.
