barrel accesory barrels...no longer avalible?

i see that some barrels are marked no longer avaliable on the BAP price list.  are the just discontinuing unpopular barrels, or are they selling whats left of each and ending the BAP?  i need either a 30/06 or .270 barrel, but would like to wait a little longer for the money, but if they are selling out and discontinuing, ill go ahead and get it.  thanks for any info.

I'm pretty sure they are just removing a few like you mentioned.  Tim is supposed to be working on getting some info on this subject.  Any luck yet Tim?

I was told last year during the move to Ilion that they would be producing only those chamberings that sold well until they got the new production facility tuned and working well. They're also in the process of building a new hammer forge barrel production facility, I suspect when they get that going there will be more barrels available, they have no intention of ending the accessory barrel program as long as they can sell barrels. Right now Marlin is busy making barrels for Marlin as well as H&R barrels, so the new barrel production operation should improve barrel availability a lot. I'm due for an updated Ilion plant report in the next week or two, I'll post any news.
