Beaver lure

Does anyone know what a 'food-based' beaver lure would consist of?
Or maybe a recipie to whip up a batch?
Thanks

Poplar bud oil, oil of birch, oil of cassia and anise oil are all proven food based elements for a beaver lure. Generally, these are used in conjunction with castor to make a good combination food/gland  lure for all seasons.  Ace :-)

Thanks Asa,
I have used a lot of castor based lures including yours and even some homemade stuff tinctired with alcohol and have had a lot of success with this.  But I also make sets by planting a small tree and shaving some bark to create eye appeal and I also add a few drops of sack oil  to this but thought I could make it better by adding one of the food based lures I hear about.
Thanks again
