260gr. Nosler BT in .375 JDJ
« on: August 10, 2003, 06:15:48 AM »
I am looking for load data for this combo.  I have H4895, AA2520, and Reloader 15.  I have been working this combo up slowly, but I was wondering what others were using.

Thanks for the help!

Ok then, anybody know what the max load for R15 is in the 270gr. Hornady?

Hornady doesn't list RL15 for it. Probably for a good reason but I'm not sure. They list loads only for H322, AA2460, H4895 and IMR4064.

Why not contact JD and ask him. Pretty sure he can provide some load data specifically for that bullet. Have you asked Nosler? Maybe they have some data.

Nosler doesn't have it listed in the manual so I figured they probably won't have data, maybe I should give them a try though.

Guess I do need to break down and give JDJ a call.

Thanks for your help.

Don't assume bullet or powder companies don't have data just because it isn't in the books. They often do. But yes break down and call JD or e-mail him and ask for what's available.

Well i called Nosler today and they didn't have data but the nice fella there told me to just use data for the 270gr. Hornady, and that I could probably work up a little.

SSK, said they didn't have any data for the BT.

I feel quite confident in my data, but I am still going to back down a half a grain and call it done.  I may give it back that extra half grain before hunting season (cooler weather, higher altitude, etc.) but until then by shoulder will thank be for saving it a little abuse! :)
