Encore 7-08 barrel

I bought a 15" 7-08 barrel from Banjoman.  Shot it recently to get ready for a Texas Hog Hunt this weekend.   I shot groups under 1 1/4" with it.  I am using Varget behind a 140 gr. Nosler B-Tip.  I am excited to see how this combo works on south Texas hogs.  I'll keep you posted.  Anybody else tried these bullets on hogs?

Killed 2 javelinas and 1 hog with this combo.  Great results, none of the animals took a step.  Great pass through shots.  All were shot at 100 yards and less.

Steve,

 I am glad to see you are enjoying the barrel. If you want something a little tougher for hogs give the Nosler Accubonds a try. Keep us posted on the Hog hunt.
