Stolen mid 1970s 357
« on: March 01, 2009, 02:40:18 AM »
I had a 6", interchangeable brl, full shroud, adjustment screw in trigger, blued 357 DW stolen that was purchased in the mid 70s. It was not part of a pistol pack, even though it was offered that way. It was BY FAR the most accurate pistol I have ever shot. I would love to find one as accurate again. I know DW went through many changes and locations. Can anyone help with me fine tuning my search? I want to start searching gun shows, etc. but need any additional info I can get. This may be too vague but I won't know unless I try.

hope you find another to help heal your heart! My old Dan wesson is absolutely amazing with a scope installed. Though I only shoot about thirty yards. Groups are clover leafs. She is older Monson Mass gun. Worn bluing, missing cylinder stop. she is perfect.

With a little luck you should be able to find a similar gun on Gunbrokers. Lots and lots of nice DW's for sale. Good luck.
