It's Monday morning and all's well . Still acting like spring , even Jack the Wonder Airedale spent the night out side . Insurance work to be done this morning and then it's back to the shop for more Bowling ball Mortar progress...

I think my thermometer is broke, it stuck and won't go below 32.  Clear blue skies, slight breeze,a physical therapy appointment this morning...well it all can be good.

Go for it Southpaw!!! Have you visited the bowling ally here in Cut Bank yet? They migh have some old balls to get rid of. I amcoming up to visit you tomorrow.  I will bring you a pound of Cannon grade.  I have to test some toothpick quills.  One set black powder and one set smokeless powder.  I will also bring some green fuse and some straws so we can take measurements.  Do you have any saltpetre? How about some stump remover.  If you want to make a linstock I'll bring the stuff.

Its been snowing since about 11PM last night in the Anaconda area. It didn't really start coming down until about 2AM though. We have about 3" right now.

pab1 : Could see a real cold front to the west late yesterday , No snow here just good strong breeze , curently 38 degrees . Headed to the work shop ...

Doug : May have chamber for mortar ready for inspection by then . No salt peter , just old one   ;D

By Golly, we might just get up to 60 or above today in NE Wisconsin. I think Mother Nature is just teasing us though. Don't know how it works in Montana, but here we could have 60 degrees today, and get a foot of snow tomorrow.

Hope that therapy helps your sore back feeling better Double D.

We have 7"+ at 12:30 PM and its still coming down. As much as I want spring to get here so the bears will come out, I'm sure glad we're getting some badly needed moisture.

It let up, at least for now. We wound up with 10".

Short sleeve weather all day today, till 5:00pm.  Little rain started and may get some snowflakes along with it.  Not supposed to make it into the 50's Tuesday, but 50's up to 60's again by the weekend.  Beautiful time of the year!  Every one get well.  Need to be out and about here real soon.  Double D, I signed ya up for a butt kickin contest next month, heal soon. ;D  DP
