Buy a Trigger Kit, Have a good gunsmith install and hone the trigger, and have him set it to whatever pull you like. Ihave one of my encores set that if you breathe on it it will go off. Much too light for hunting, I use it at the range target shooting only. But remember if you ever have to send your Frame back to thompson for any reason they will restore your trigger to it original state, so you will be back to squre one. There are ways to do it yopurself by replacing the spring with a bick lighter spring on the G-1 but am not sure if you can do it with the G-2. But better know how to disassemble your frame and reassemble it    Lou

I believe Thompson will do the same thing with a Contender trigger. Where does one pick up a trigger kit for a G2?

My bad, I'll try and figure out how to do that.
