new pedersoli gibbs rifle

this is the new pedersoli gibbs rifle,i think it should have a barrel under rib and ram rod fitted as it is a hunting rifle jmo.

That is a nice looking rifle. Are you sure it's a hunter model? Looks to me like a target rifle. JMO Regards

Interesting. I see they have figured out how to lower the nipple, so the cap fence is actually effective now. Funny it has a rear sling swivel but no front one. I wonder what it is proofed at? With 1:75 twist it would stabilize a pretty big conical, but it's light enough that the recoil would get punishing in a hurry. Of course a hardened ball over 5 drams of powder would still shoot through anything that walks.
