a path many of us have considered. I researched it well. There are issues with needing a new follower and lifter not being able to use the long heavy bullets, etc. It is doable with enough time and effort. There has been done a 375/356 by Paco Kelly which is about the same thing. Of course I make no claims to be one of the magicians of the levergun. I finally decided, that if I was going to do it, it would be with a 444 BB and put on a 375 barrel to spare hassles. on THE FLIP SIDE THEY ARE FEW AND NO MORE BEIN MADE. I also thought about going with a 444 Marlin and rebarreling. Again a fair option. So, I have thought a lot on the subject, but don't have one-yet.
