I gotta look mine up, and my reloading room is  in sambles because I am building another, But I use right around 20 or 21 grains of IMR 4227 with 180gr HC LFNGC @ 2000FPS Very accurate and hard hitting.

In my gun a max load of AA1680 has proved safe and very accurate with both the Hornady SSP 180 & the Speer 180FP bullets. Sparked with a CCI 400 primer.

I have found that with the SSP Bullet, under 100yards, avoid major bones if thru and thru penetration is wanted. Never lost a deer, but almost complete bullet fragmentation on larger bones. The Speer will penetrate regardless, but with out hitting bones, dime sized exits are common.

The Maxi is still my Favorite handi. (The 32-20 is a very close second!!)

add a grain of H110 to that, and I push the Horn 180 XTP to roughly 2050 fps - which was my goal for low end (carbine barrel) 30-30 energy levels.

Well, I should be set when I get the time to rent the reamer.  I got 3# of 1680 now and more of the H110.  Been buying the XTP 180s when I find em, so time to ream is all I need (and the reamer of course).  DP
