New Ruger number 1
« on: January 22, 2009, 02:33:35 PM »
  Oh Boy!
The wood on my light sporter 243 is great! I was afraid after looking at some of the posts on this and other forums that it would be plain.............it's not thank God.
I can't wait to shoot it, hope the rain will let up so I can make it to the range.

hawaii50  -  Time to step up and post some pic's.  I can understand wanting to shoot it, so if it quits raining do so.  Then you can give us a range report AND pictures.   ;D

oK Ok! sorry no pictures as of yet.
I did take her to the indoor range [American Shooting Center] where it is dark and you can't see your sights and some mall ninja with his swat lite and double taps is banging away........Jeez!
Any-hoo it's only 25 yards and in the dark with irons, but this rfle shoots as good as she looks. Even my reloads did great.
   I think I have a new favorite.
 Longboard.
p.s. I will have my wife help me with photos.
