A Toast:
« on: March 18, 2009, 05:22:42 PM »
I propose a toast: To obama the man that has sold more guns and ammo than any man in history. The man that was anointed king by the great news media.
But beware what the king giveth the king taketh away.
Drink deeply America, you who have perfected ignorance in a land of plenty.

dont like his ideas but as a man he is gaining my respect... Twice now something big has screwed up and both times he has said" I'm the guy in charge so it is my fault"  someone who takes responsibility for the mistakes and problems that happen on his watch is rare there aren't many who do it they are too busy trying to find someone else to blame. You dont have to like a man to respect him.
the nation that forgets it defenders will itself be forgotten

It's one thing to admit guilt, ( good for him in that respect)
now will he CORRECT THE PROBLEM?

Talk can be cheap, I go more for action!
It sounds good to the people.
"IT'S MY FAULT"
but if he does nothing to correct it than it's just a bunch of words with no meaning!

We'll see.

I think Coach K summed it up pretty good and the Leno appearance was the capper, cut the crap and get back to work.

Torpedoman I will wager that a group of handlers looked at what would make him look good and that little "its my fault" was the answer they came up with.
If he was the man that admitted to stuff like this he would not be the king now.
