need to know my velocity

hey does anybody got quick load or somthing like that?? i have a 17 hornet ai with a 22 inch barrel shooting a 20 gr midway dog town bullet with 10 grains of lilgun in remington brass with a winchester small rife primer.


i shot my crony a while back and have had a chance to try this load over my friends yet .

From looking at the Hodgdon's data , your load should be running right around 3500 fps , +/- 50 fps , if you can wait till Hooker I'll have my Chrono with me and we can check them then to be sure .

ya thats what i was guessin them at . i dont have access to my long range rifle range right now and i wanted to make a drop chat  before i went.

I don't have any data for the 20g but with a 25g it shows a 100 yard zero will be

-0.7 @ 150

-2.5 @ 200

-5.8 @ 250

-10.9 @ 300

That should get you close till you can run the numbers on Quick-load or one of the other programs .

( These numbers are from the Hornady trajectory tables in the 4th Edition Vol 2 )

Sounds kinda fast to me. The .17 Fireball only gets 4000 fps.
