Anyone have this gun in the 44 Magnum? If so what do you think of it?

I don't own one but had the opportunity to fire one when Taurus held a buyer appreciation day in my home town an number of years ago.
I like the way the gun looks & feels and the ports and the weight help to tame the recoil.
That's about all I can say about it since I only had the opportunity to fire one cylinder of ammo through it and was all over the target with it.

I own the 454 with the 8" barrel and love it. It will handle the 44 mag with ease. I own a Ruger super blackhawk in 44 mag and have thought about selling it to get a rageing bull in 44 mag.

Thanks guys. I figured that the 44 mag would be pretty tame in this big revolver.

Ive got it in 44mag. I love it. Ive put a few hundred round through it so far. As soon as I start reloading for it I will be shooting it a lot more.

I haven't got a chance with the .44RB, but I own a .454 Casull RB, and have shot my buddies .480 Ruger RB, both of which are a true pleasure to shoot. I would recommened this revolver for any large caliber handgun round.

I own a 6.5" polished stainless RB in 454, and love it. Have taken several whitetails with it. Extremly accurate.
